We are at 60 something days...yes I forgot and yes I'm too lazy to count or figure it out!!! But, the reason for this post is because our invitations are OFFICIALLY OUT!!! I was supposed to go on Friday after work but I got caught up and didn't make it in time. So I started handing out the ones over the weekend and then the ones to CA got sent out today. Whew! It was a great feeling and the postal lady gave me the WORST STAMPS EVER!!!! Then she was in a rush to stick them on that she was putting them on upside down and sideways.....egh oh well. I tried not to stress over it and I was just really happy to send them.
In other news, the only major things to do are make some final vendor payments, a couple of DIY projects, programs(which falls into the DIY category) and finish up getting groomsman gifts and OOT bags. I can't believe I'm almost down to the 2 month mark. It's kind of making me anxious that my ticker will say 1 month and something. I'm really excited to see all the family from CA and especially to get back their RSVP's because even though they have bought their plane tickets...it won't actually hit me until they actually send them back and I have them in my hands.
Okay, I gotta go sulk because my Celtics lost! Love ya.

Weekend Update and Some Checks!
Rather than spreading this out in 2 posts I will make this one.long.post! :) Enjoy!
Okay so according to my countdown we have 25 weeks and 4 days until the wedding! In other countdowns that equals to 173 days or 5 months 3 weeks and 1 day. I am officially under 1/2 of the year. ::PASS THE PAPER BAG!:: I'm beginning to hyperventilate.
I have 2 main things to book, and it's the DJ/Band (I wish Edgar's Dad will just hurry up and decide) and the Photographer. Okay here's the dilemma on that one. I met with Charlotte with number9 photography and everything was fine and dandy except Edgar and I really didn't have the money for the deposit. I was waiting until the 15th until I got paid to pay for her and to fill out the contract. Until, I got the e-mail saying something along the lines of her already booking that day with another bride but if I wanted someone else from her group of photographers it would be the same amount and she would do the editing, but she wouldn't be taking the pictures. We told Edgar's parents and they encouraged us to look around. Okay. We went and met with a lady on Saturday but then Edgar's Dad said please call me Sunday and make a time to meet with E's Dad, Edgar, and I all to talk about prices and see her work. It's $1250 for both the videography and photography. While waiting for her to call I receive an e-mail from Charlotte telling me that the bride that booked with her on the 11th didn't secure her venue so she had to move her photography date back to the 18th. PERFECT! BUT, we had already talked to the other lady and was waiting for a meeting. She never called on Sunday and we tried to call her today to see if we could meet but she never answered....back to square 1. We're basically screwed! :) SOOOO....if we haven't heard from this lady by the 30th I will be contacting Charlotte and book the date with her.
I also finished printing the rsvp cards and reception cards off on my computer. Edgar and I took them to Kinko's so they could cut them. Well worth the $17 I spent on cutting them. I made my sponsor cards/letters also and I bought a stamp at Hobby Lobby that says "The joining of two hands makes One Heart!" that I stamped the back of the envelope. Soo cute! I made my DIY pomanders I am going to use for the flower girls (yes I nixed the baskets!) and also for the Church Pews. I'm in love with them! I added the lime green roses because I felt they needed a pop of color. They turned out good to me.
Today I spent the day with Edgar. It was nice and much deserved! He's off on Mondays and because of the lovely MLKjr....I was off today too. We slept in. Woke up and went to lunch (!) We went and ran errands. We got the rest of our cake plates from Party City so I'm finished with that. We bought him some work shoes. Thank God he can throw the others away! :) We got some stuff from Hobby Lobby and we came home. We also went to scope out Apartments. We found the ones we want to move into. We will go back probably around April and see what the availability is. ::crosses fingers they have something good:: It's in a perfect location and Edgar's ready to move in now. I let him know if we pay everything we need to for the wedding we can move in as soon as that's all done. Hopefully that will put him in high gear. Tomorrow is the first of four marriage classes. We will be there from 7-9 and luckily tomorrow I get to come home straight after work....YAY for no after school tutoring!

Such a FUN day!
Yep, I did it. I went to the Bridal Extravaganza here in Austin with my Bestfriend since 1st grade. We are both bride to be's but she has not set an official wedding date yet. I couldn't have picked a better person to go with, it was just amazing! We ate pretty much every piece of cake there....which I should probably try on my dress to make sure it still fits! :) Oh well...I have plenty of time. (hopefully!)
Then, we went to see BRIDE WARS!!!! That movie was just amazing! I loved it. I'm so glad I went to see it with her because we've been BESTfriends for like 18 years. The movie fit our personality and it made me choke up and get teary eyed twice! I even had the BIGGEST knot in my throat. Ahhh, I'll be seeing that movie again.
This morning we went to her apartment and worked on cutting out a piece of my program. These will go on top of the black cardstock. And in the inside of the program, there will be either ivory paper, or green paper. I haven't fully decided yet. They will be full sheets of paper folded in half and then 2 hole punched with ribbon on the binding. Here's a pic of what we cut out today.
I also printed out our RSVP cards. Both are printed out on lime green card stock. They're so nice, and they look so classic. I'm going to be cutting them out and gluing the front to the programs. As soon as I'm done cutting out a few of the RSVP's I am going to get one full invitation together so I can go and weigh them. Luckily I won't be mailing out a ton, only about 20 out of the 97 I will be making.....so I won't be spending a fortune on postage.

YAY! I'm so happy with the progress I'm making with the wedding planning. Hopefully I continue. Monday, we have a meeting with the Father at the Church. I have a list of questions I want to ask him and then I'm going to also ask about the timeline for the Church Ceremony so I can get started on my programs. I always want to be one step ahead incase something tragic (God forbid anything does) happens, and we have to put a hold on wedding planning for a bit. I also need to ask him some photographer questions. Uhmm...what else? We are going to be taking our FOCCUS test at 9:30 Monday morning, so I'm kinda worried about that. I think it will be fine and I'm just overreacting. I also got an e-mail from one of the ladies that work at the Catholic Diocese of Austin and they got our check in the mail for our marriage classes. They were originally requesting we go to the retreat but I really didn't have $260 bucks to fork out. SOOO, we opted to do the 7-9 pm on Tuesday evenings for 4 Tuesdays beginning Jan. 20th(for only $90). So we will be there until February 3rd, but I like that option better.
That's all for now.
